Valeo: Hidden Display
Valeo will exhibit for the first time "Hidden Display," an in-vehicle display for next-generation cockpits. As the name suggests, Hidden Display blends into the interior texture when the car is powered off, but when the system is activated it reveals a seamless and intuitive touchscreen. Animations can be displayed on the wide and high-resolution display, allowing symbols to be placed dynamically. The combination of eye-catching design and functionality creates a tangible and powerful brand signature.

Valeo: Concept EV Mini Car with 48V eAccess
As a proposal for the 48V system in the new mobility, Valeo will exhibit for the first time the Micro Utility Vehicle (MUV) developed by METAx (Micro EV Technology research Association) and equipped with Valeo acclaimed full propulsion system "Valeo eAccess" and a DC-DC converter. It is an ultra small mobility device that is larger than a motorcycle and smaller than a kei car and is intended for use in small-scale deliveries. Because it has four wheels, it is safer than a motorcycle, twice smaller than a kei car, and can turn quickly, making it a new option for an EV that can be easily operated.

ICHIKOH: "e-Face", external HMI for autonomous vehicles
“e-Face” is an external HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) that provides safety and security by supporting communication from autonomous car to surrounding traffic users. It replaces part of the communication with surrounding traffic participants that the driver usually operates by displaying signs such as characters and facial expressions that mean “start” “crossing pedestrian” “stop” “turning right”, “turning left” and “greeting”, etc. in accordance with the situation of the vehicle. Our goal is to realize safe, secure and smooth operation for the crews and traffic users by communicating appropriately utilizing external HMI in a Level 4 automated driving service without a driver.
