The Topy Industries Group's exhibition slogan was ``Regeneration Circle - the TOPY circle that connects and expands towards a bright future'', which combines the words Regeneration and Circle, which have the meaning of regeneration. The slogan incorporates the Topy Industries Group's business model of proactively working toward the realization of a circular cycle for producing products from steel scrap, sustainable management, and carbon neutrality.
At the Japan Mobility Show 2023, the Topy Industries Group will aim to improve corporate recognition through its wheel business, and through its exhibits as a comprehensive wheel manufacturer for everything from passenger cars to commercial vehicles. We propose "Innovation (new products and new technology)".

Booth Highlights

The theme of "JAPAN MOBILITY SHOW 2023" is "Discover a future you can’t wait to navigate!". Therefore, we also decided to use "Yokohama's vision of future tires" as our exhibition concept. The booth will feature the following areas: "For Electric Vehicle", "Advanced Technology", "Sustainable Motorsport Tire", and "AI-HAICoLab".

In the "Advanced Technology" area, various advanced technologies that contribute to practical tire applications, such as "tires with smart sensor" and "aero-fin tires that control air flow” will be introduced. And we will be unveiling for the first time the “Future Sports Tire Concept'' which aims to freely control tire rigidity according to the needs of the driving scene. Please come and experience the concept model that incorporates Yokohama's vision of future technology.

In the "Electric Vehicle" section, we will introduce the latest models of Yokohama that are compatible with EV vehicles, which have been attracting more and more attention in recent years. In the "Sustainable Motorsport Tire" section, Yokohama's efforts to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through motor sports will be introduced. Sustainable raw materials will also be on display. And in the "AI-HAICoLab" section, tire design technology using AI will be explained. Sustainable raw materials will also be on display.

Booth Highlights

The DUNLOP Booth will, under the concept of “WE SYNCHRONIZE.,” introduce our various forward-thinking initiatives that meet the needs and expectations of a CASE (Connected, Autonomous/Automated, Shared, and Electric) and sustainable society, including our unique new technologies and solutions services. We will reveal detailed information on ACTIVE TREAD, a newly invented rubber technology that changes tire performance depending on road surface conditions, for the first time, and will provide an attraction that enables visitors to have firsthand experience of changes in properties of rubber.

We seek to expand the potential of tires, such as those responding to not only road surface conditions but also other conditions lying ahead and a future environment, by utilizing the ACTIVE TREAD technology that changes the functional traits of tread rubber to optimize tire performance depending on road surface conditions, the SENSING CORE technology that uses tires themselves as sensors to visualize road surface conditions, etc., and environmentally friendly and sustainable raw materials.

The DUNLOP Booth will provide visitors with an opportunity to see and feel a “Future Full of Excitement” that Sumitomo Rubber Industries pursues under the philosophy of providing real a “future of joy and well-being for all” through innovation.
